About the Summit

The Global Summit & Training Program on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Technology, Advanced Science and Law for Sustainable Development (GLOTADALS 2026) is an interdisciplinary 6-day global event to be held in Charlotte (Concord), North Carolina, USA form July, 20 - July 25, 2026 bringing together leading AI, science and technology experts, corporate organization/businesses, academics, policymakers, legal professionals, jurists, AI researchers, and practitioners.

The summit will address the evolving impact of AI and digital technology in legal frameworks and global development, with a strong focus on responsible AI governance, policy formulation, and legal innovation.

The summit also aims to develop a Draft Legal Framework on bridging and usage of AI, Digital Technology and Advanced for Sustainable Development as a proposal for presentation to the United Nations, which could serve as a foundation for global AI governance and responsible AI deployment. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the proposed Global Compact Legal Framework on AI and DT towards Sustainable Development, for submission to the U.N. through discussions and policy recommendations.

Submission

We invite executive leaders, policymakers, academics, researchers, legal professionals, jurists, and experts to submit an Abstract/Extended Abstract related to the Subthemes outlined in the program (page 6).

Full paper submission is not required for presentation. Best presenters may later be invited to submit full papers for possible journal publication (see page 7 of the program).

Submission Guidelines

  • Extended Abstract: Required (not full paper).Submission of the said Abstract does not form part of the Registration process. Upon acceptance, the participant will be notified.
  • During Registration: Participants must indicate whether they wish to present a paper. Participants who wish to present will be required to submit the title of their accepted/intended Extended Abstract, a short abstract (300-500 words), and keywords.
  • Pages: Maximum 4 pages (including pictures, figures, references - if any)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double‑spaced
  • Margins: 1‑inch (2.54 cm) all sides
  • Citation Style: APA (any edition) or OSCOLA
  • File Format: Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF
  • Preferred Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodology, Discussion, Conclusion, References
  • Language: English
  • Author Details: Name, Institutional Affiliation, Email

  • Note: For the avoidance of doubt, you may register for the Summit at any time, whether or not you submit an extended abstract. What is important is that you indicate your interest to present during registration and submit your extended abstract within the deadline. If accepted, you will be notified of your scheduled presentation session and other relevant details.

Important Dates

In view of the complaints regarding technical challenges affecting abstract submissions on our website, the Summit Administration Council has extended the deadline for abstract submission to March 31, 2026. Kindly note that submissions received after the extended deadline will not be considered

Registration & Participation Cost

  • Submission of Extended Abstract: FREE
  • Early Registration (Dec 01, 2025 – Mar 31, 2026): $600 USD
  • Late Registration (Apr 01 – Jun 30, 2026): $700 USD
  • Single Day Summit: $150 USD
  • Course Registration: $400 USD per course
