1. Agreement to Terms

  • By accessing the GLOTADALS website, submitting abstracts, registering for the Summit or related programs, or using any services offered through this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website and related services.
  • These Terms apply to all visitors, users, participants, exhibitors, sponsors, and any other persons accessing the platform.

2. Organizers

The website is operated by the GLOTADALS Organizing Institutions, including the Institute of Law Research & Development of the United Nations (ILAWDUN) and other partner institutions listed in the official program (“we”, “us”, “our”).

3. Use of the Website

3.1. Lawful Use

  • Users agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with:
    • Applicable local, state, national, and international laws
    • Academic, professional, and ethical standards
    • Regulations, policies, and instructions published by the organizers

  • No confidential or unlawfully obtained material is included

The organizers may:

  • Review submissions
  • Accept, reject, or request modification
  • Assign reviewers and publication partners
  • Modify program schedules as needed
  • Submission does not guarantee acceptance

4.2. Event Registration

  • By registering for the Summit, related courses, exhibitions, or sponsorships, users agree to:
    • Provide accurate information
    • Follow event rules and participation guidelines
    • Pay applicable fees where required
    • Details on refund policies, if applicable, may be specified separately or communicated programmatically on the website or the Summit program/brochure

5. Intellectual Property

  • Unless otherwise stated:
    • The website design, trademarks, materials, text, images, and related content are owned by the organizers or licensed third parties.
    • Users may not copy, modify, distribute, republish, or reproduce site content without written permission, except for fair academic and non-commercial use.
    • User-submitted content remains the property of the submitter, but by submitting, users grant the organizers a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to:
      • Review
      • Publish in event materials, proceedings, websites, or digital platforms
      • Store and index
      • Use for academic or professional event-related purposes
      • Use in commercial publication (whenever necessary)

    • The organizers are not responsible for third-party system failures or outages
    • Refund situations due to system glitches in the third-party system are only subject to the third-party refund policies; the organizers cannot be held responsible
    • Refunds related to the program (not the third-party system), where offered, are subject to published policies on the website and conditions in the Summit program or brochure
